The bore has a rotation unit (9) relative to a rotation axis perpendicular to a plane of a lens, defining a degree of freedom. An attachment unit and a support column that are capable of moving with each other in the plane, defines another degree of freedom. The column has an end linked to a bedplate capable of rotating about another end and defines a third degree. A head linked by a translation unit defines a fourth degree. An independent claim is also included for a machining method of an eyeglass lens in a numeric control bore.
