<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a mutation at the 100th position (C100T mutation) of a cDNA of a CYP2D6 gene. <P>SOLUTION: A nucleic acid probe obtained by amplifying a region containing the C100T mutation according to a PCR (polymerase chain reaction), labeling the terminus with a fluorescent dye, reducing the fluorescence of the fluorescent dye when hybridized and having a specific base sequence is used to carry out a melting curve analysis by measuring the fluorescence of the fluorescent dye.
