PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gusset type packaging bag capable of easily and reliably unsealing a content to be easily broken, and easily separable even when the content is tightly attached to a film. SOLUTION: The gusset type packaging bag is constituted of a film having a base layer and a heat-bonding resin layer, and has a side surface part of a modified hexagonal cylinder with two facing sides folded inside with the heat-bonding resin layer on the inner side, and end parts with one of both ends of the hexagonal cylinder being sealed by heat-bonding. Two sides included in at least one surface of the side surface part along the axial direction of the hexagonal cylinder are joined with sides of another surface by the heat-bonding. An unsealing tab piece is provided on an end of one surface, a heat-bonded portion of the two sides along the axial direction is converged in a substantial V-shape toward the unsealing tab piece, and the heat-bonded portion is easily unsealable.
