PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle having an air mix door, suppressing reduction of air flow property and improving air mixing characteristic. SOLUTION: The air mix door (20) has a door body part (23) for adjusting an amount of air passing through a detour passage (15) and a heating air passage (16) by opening/closing both passages (15, 16); and an air mix guide (22) integrally arranged opposed to the door body part (23) and forming an auxiliary air passage (26) a gap with the door body part (23). The air mix guide (22) is operated in response to the opening/closing action of the door body part (23) and a position relationship of an entrance side and an exit side of the auxiliary air passage (26) is varied. When the door body part (23) is positioned at a position for closing the heating air passage (16), the air mix guide (22) is arranged in approximately parallel to an air flow direction in the detour passage (15).
