PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain rigidity in a rotation direction of a shaft coupling part and to reduce elastic restoration force in a radial direction applied from a metal plate of the shaft coupling to a driving gear. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device is provided with the driving gear 3 interlocked/connected to an output shaft 1a of an electric motor 1 for steering assistance; and a driven gear 4 engaged with the driving gear 3 and connected to a steering means. The output shaft 1a and the driving gear 3 are interlocked/connected by the metal plate 23 having a plurality of eccentric pins 21, 22 projectedly provided on the output shaft 1a and the driving gear 3 and transmission holes 23a, 23b having edge parts internally fitted with the respective eccentric pins 21, 22 and having flexibility.
