<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed ball bearing capable of improving the lubrication contribution ratio of grease, and extending bearing seizure life by holding grease on an inner diametric surface of a retainer, and prohibiting scattering of grease due to centrifugal force. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises an outer ring 9, an inner ring 10, a plurality of balls 12 incorporated in a bearing space formed between race surfaces of the outer ring and the inner ring, a crown-shaped retainer 13 to retain the balls to be capable of rolling, grease enclosed in a circular space formed of the bearing space and the balls, and a sealing plate 22 disposed at both axial end parts.
