PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary marking pile usable repeatedly over and over without being thrown away, and excellent from economical and environmental viewpoints. SOLUTION: In this temporary marking pile 10, a pile body 13 and a head part 14 are formed of plastics, and many small holes 14a are formed on the top face of the head part 14. Some small hole 14a is selected and a survey nail 16 is driven therein, to thereby display a boundary point or a survey point. Since the small hole 14a is used as a standard of driving-in of the survey nail 16, the survey nail 16 can be driven in simply even if the temporary pile 10 is formed of plastics, and the top face of the head part 14 is not destructed.
