A mobile document delivery system using a document format including font data and a document delivery method thereof are provided to convert a document, made by various document making programs, into a document format having the font data and transmit URL information storing the document to a mobile communication terminal. A mobile document delivery system using a document format including font data comprises the followings: a user terminal(100); a document receiving server(200); a document format converting server(300) which receives a document, has fonts within it, and converts the received document into a document format file having fonts viewable in a receiver mobile communication terminal like an original document; a document storage server(400) which designates the converted document to a physical location of an URL(Uniform Resource Locator) and stores the designated document; a message transmitting server(500) which generates an SMS(Short Message Service) message, including the URL, or a wap push type message and transmits the message to the receiver mobile communication terminal; a viewer download server(600) checking a viewer available for displaying the document format to download the viewer when the receiver mobile communication terminal accesses; and the receiver mobile communication terminal(700).
