A light emitting diode is provided to rapidly radiate the heat generated from a first substrate to the outside of a vacuum receptacle by forming a heat radiation layer on the uppermost part of the first substrate wherein the heat radiation layer is connected to the outside of the vacuum receptacle. A vacuum receptacle includes a first substrate(2), a second substrate(4) and a sealing member. An electron radiation unit(100) is formed on the first substrate confronting the second substrate, including a plurality of electron radiation parts(14) and a plurality of electrodes for controlling the electron radiation of the electron radiation unit. A light emitting unit(110) is formed on the second substrate confronting the first substrate. A heat radiation unit maintains insulation from the electrodes wherein a part of the heat radiation unit is extended to the outside of the vacuum receptacle, positioned in the uppermost part of the electron radiation unit and having a coefficient of thermal conduction of 2 W/cmK or higher. The electrodes can include first and second electrodes(10,12) formed at both sides of a first insulation layer wherein the first and second electrodes cross each other. The electron radiation part can electrically be connected to one of the first or second electrode.
