PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole-in-one and closest-to-the-pin authentication system capable of easily calculating a distance between a ball and a cup from the image information of a camera so as to give an award for a hit ball standing still within a prescribed distance from the cup as the closest to the pin together with a hole in one in a golf game. SOLUTION: The hole-in-one and closest-to-the-pin authentication system comprises a camera 1 for a tee area provided with a transmission means for transmitting picked-up image information, a camera 2 for the green provided with a transmission means for transmitting picked-up image information, and an image processor 4 provided with a reception means for recording and processing the image information. The image processor comprises a recording medium for storing the image information picked up by the camera for the tee area and the camera for the green, a display means for displaying two or more pieces of the image information stored in the recording medium on one screen, and an operation means for calculating the hole in one and a distance between the ball standstill position of the first hit and the cup from the image information picked up by the camera for the green.
