PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a communication method capable of suppressing user's erroneous specification of a destination. SOLUTION: When destination retrieval 51d is depressed, transmitted images indicated by transmitted FAX data which had been transmitted in the past under the same FAX setting conditions as FAX setting conditions (black, fine, dark) set at present and the transmitted destinations of the transmitted images are displayed in a vertically corresponding state.
