DECODING METHOD OF LOW DENSITY PARITY CHECK CODE DECODER

摘要

A decoding method of a low density parity check code decoder is provided to reduce a calculating quantity by not referring to a look-up table in a decoding process. A main operation is performed by selecting a sign and the minimum value from a probability value of a parity node and the probability value of a bit node. An auxiliary operation is performed by using the correction function to quantize an output level to two according to the input of the probability values. The sign is selected by multiplying the signs of the probability values. The minimum value is selected as the minimum value among the absolute value of the probability values. The probability value of the parity node is updated by using the result values of the main operation and the auxiliary operation.
