PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate electric power in response to quantity of surplus steam varying by a steam quantity supplied to a steam process line, in a process steam-using facility having a steam process line for supplying steam generated by a boiler for a predetermined processing and a surplus steam line for sending the surplus steam not supplied to the steam process line, and a power generation device interposed in the surplus steam line. SOLUTION: This power generation facility has the steam process line 4 for supplying the steam generated by a steam supply source 2 such as a waste heat boiler for the predetermined process, the surplus steam line 5 branched off from the steam process line 4 and discharging the surplus steam to the atmosphere or supplying the surplus steam to a condenser, a pressure regulating valve 6 and the power generation device 9 interposed in parallel in the surplus steam line 5, a pressure detector 7 arranged on the primary side of the pressure regulating valve 6, and a control means 10 for controlling opening of the pressure regulating valve 6 so that pressure detected by the pressure detector 7 becomes a preset pressure value.
