<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of reducing operation noise and providing large air capacity without upsizing and a humidifier capable of satisfying demand for improving humidifying performances by using the air blower. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The blower has a structure having a large diameter first impeller 24 including first axial flow blades 24a and a small diameter second impeller 25 including second axial flow blades 25a coaxially provided in a housing 21 with the second impeller 25 positioned at an upstream side, intensively accelerating air passing a vicinity of an axis of the first impeller 24 by the second impeller 25, and increasing air capacity without wastefully operating the second impeller 25.
