1. A method of performing a seismic survey, comprising:
deploying nodal seismic sensors at positions in a survey region; selecting a timing function for activating a plurality of seismic sources that includes a ratio of a dither time to a shot interval that is less than or equal to ½, wherein the dither time indicates a delay between two shots from two different seismic sources of the plurality of seismic sources and the shot interval indicates a delay between two shots from an individual seismic source of the plurality of seismic sources; activating, using a modulation signature configured to identify each of the plurality of seismic sources, and based on the timing function, the plurality of seismic sources corresponding to the survey region; recording, via the nodal seismic sensors, seismic signals generated in response to activating the plurality of seismic sources; and deblending, based on the timing function that includes the ratio of the dither time to the shot interval that is less than or equal to ½, the seismic signals recorded via the nodal seismic sensors to generate data representing subsurface structures indicative of oil or gas. |
