A rotary cylinder type recorder for the beginning and end time of the use of an indwelling medical instrument. The rotary cylinder type recorder is combined with or connected to fittings of an existing medical instrument on clinical medical treatment, and can be used for recording the beginning and end time of the use of the medical instrument. The rotary cylinder type recorder comprises a recorder body carrying record marks. The record marks arranged on the recorder body comprise a date mark and a time period mark (3.3) that represents each time period in a day. A record sign is composed of a rotary cylinder type record sign. The rotary cylinder type record sign comprises a marking rotary cylinder, an indicating rotary cylinder (10) and a clipping mechanism. The marking rotary cylinder and the indicating rotary cylinder are coaxially fitted together. The rotary cylinder type recorder has clear record marks not easy to be blurred or damaged; the rotary cylinder type recorder can be connected to and even combined with the indwelling instrument into a whole, and is not easy to be lost or cannot be lost; the beginning and end time of the instrument indwelling is straightforward, and the problem of losing the beginning and end time can be avoided. |
