A drive method for a liquid crystal display panel, comprising: defining a first region (D1) and a second region (D2) on a liquid crystal display panel (20); and respectively generating at least two different display grey scales according to grey scales to be displayed corresponding to the two regions, and driving pixels in the two regions to display, so that a relationship between an average value of actual display brightness of the pixels and the corresponding grey scale to be displayed meets the same front view angle gamma curve during front view angle observation, and a relationship between the average value of actual display brightness of the pixels and the corresponding grey scale to be displayed meets different squint angle gamma curves during squint angle observation. Therefore, the liquid crystal display panel (20) has a peep prevention effect. |
