A forward and reverse scanning-type gate driving circuit for liquid crystal display. The gate driving circuit comprises a plurality of cascaded GOA units. Each level of GOA unit comprises a pull-up control circuit (100), a pull-up circuit (200), a pull-down circuit (400), a pull-down holding circuit (500), a reset circuit (600) and a bootstrap capacitor (Cb). The scanning direction of the liquid crystal display is controlled through forward and reverse scanning control signals input by the pull-up control circuit (100), and whether the GOA units output scanning signals sequentially from top level to bottom level or output scanning signals sequentially from bottom level to top level is determined. Furthermore, through double-end dependence of circuit points P(N) and K(N) of the pull-down holding circuit (500) and the brand-new design of a three-segment voltage dividing structure, it is guaranteed that the pull-down holding circuit (500) is at the appropriate potential in the acting and non-acting periods, and a key node Q(N) and a gate output signal G(N) can be effectively maintained in the low-potential holding state at the low potential. |
