An objective of the present invention provides a screw-type pin for surgical operation, in which a drill part of the screw-type pin can be smoothly inserted into a bone in an initial work of fixing the screw-type pin to the bone. According to the present invention, the screw-type pin is inserted into the bone and fixed to the bone. The screw-type pin includes a body, a drill part, and one spiral part. The body has a cylindrical shape. The drill part is formed in a conical shape at one end portion of the body. The spiral part is provided at one side of the body and formed on an outer surface of the body in such a manner that the drill part is linked with the spiral part. The drill part includes a cutting surface, a cutting head part, and an upper cutting surface. The cutting surface is provided at a tip thereof with an apex that a central axis of the body meets and includes a flat surface cut upward from the tip. The cutting head part has a pointed shape and has a cross sectional surface having inclinations at 30° to 40° about the central axis of the body when viewed from the front surface of the cutting surface. The cutting head part has the cross sectional surface having one inclination at 30°- 40° about the central axis and another inclination at 5°- 10° about the central axis when viewed from the lateral side of the cutting surface. The upper cutting surface is located at an upper portion of the cutting head part. The upper cutting surface is cut to meet the cutting surface formed by cutting the body to have lines inclined at an angle of 50° to 70° about the central axis when viewed from the front surface of the cutting surface. A lower end portion of the one spiral part is located on an inclination surface of the cutting head part while being spaced apart from the tip by a predetermined interval. The upper cutting surface is inclined in the same direction as a direction that a spiral of the one spiral part is inclined. |
