摘要 The present invention relates to a portable neck muscle exercise and training system and a method for controlling the same. The present invention is provided with a neck muscle EMG detection unit linked to a portable personal terminal (smartphone) to measure the degree of neck muscle activity, suggests a measurement result, customized exercise methods, and exercise prescription to the portable personal terminal to allow a user to do exercise, allows a manager to manage multiple users, and can be used as a muscular contraction detector for assisting in exercise therapy. The portable neck muscle exercise and training system according to the present invention includes: a neck muscle EMG detection unit detecting a neck muscle activity signal by attaching an EMG electrode to a neck muscle; a portable personal terminal detecting the degree of neck muscle activity by using an average (AVG) of the neck muscle muscle activity signal received from the neck muscle EMG detection unit and the pre-stored relative voluntary isometric contraction (RVIC) of the user; and a main server transmitting exercise prescription including exercise methods to the portable personal terminal in accordance with the degree of neck muscle activity received from the portable personal terminal. The neck muscle is a sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM). The portable personal terminal outputs the neck muscle activity signal and the degree of neck muscle activity and outputs a sound signal and an image signal for guiding the neck muscle exercise and training.
