PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antibodies having a linker sequence which does not affect an antigen-antibody reaction as much as possible.SOLUTION: Antigens are measured competitively by competitively reacting an antibody (preferably a single chain antibody) with an antigen in a sample and a labeled antigen, the antibody being characterized by that an H chain and L chain of a rabbit antibody (e.g., thyroid hormone which is a hapten, particularly a rabbit antibody to triiodothyronine) are linked through a peptide linker having a specific sequence, and by detecting the labeled antigen that is linked to or is not linked to the antibody.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
