PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, in a grease replacement mechanism in a conventional elevator driving machine, as an oil discharge port is installed at a lower part of a bearing cover, separated oil content exudes in a liquid and reaches a brake surface.SOLUTION: An elevator driving machine includes: a bearing for holding a shaft of a sheave of the elevator driving machine at an end part; a bearing stand having an oil supply port for communicating an outside surface and an inside surface, and for supporting the bearing in an axial direction; a first bearing cover opposing to the sheave and the bearing, locked to the bearing stand and for protecting one surface on the sheave of the bearing; and a second bearing cover opposing to the bearing, locked to the bearing stand and for protecting the other surface on the opposite side from the sheave of the bearing. At a fitting part between the bearing stand and the first bearing cover, the elevator driving machine also includes: a recess part which has a first groove dented in an axial direction and provided along a circumferential direction of the axis at the bearing stand, and a second groove dented at the first bearing cover and provided along the circumferential direction of the axis; and an opening for communicating the outside surface of the bearing stand and the first bearing cover, and the recess part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
