PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can accurately maintain an amount of developer in a developing container at a desired amount thereof regardless of a change in fluidity of the developer or conveyance velocity thereof, and to provide an image formation device including the developing device.SOLUTION: A developing device comprises: a developing container; a first agitation member; a second agitation member; a developer carrier; a developer replenishment port; and a developer emission port. The second agitation member is composed of a rotation shaft, and a second spiral blade formed in an outer peripheral face of the rotation shaft, and is configured to agitate the developer in a second conveyance chamber in an opposite direction of the first agitation member to convey the developer. In the second agitation member, a regulation unit is formed that is arranged to oppose the developer emission port downstream of a communication part with respect to a conveyance direction of the developer in the second conveyance chamber, and regulates a movement of the developer toward a developer emission port side. The regulation unit is composed of a regulation blade of more than two turns which is a reverse phase relative to that of the second spiral blade. An interval between the regulation blade and an inner wall face of the developing container is gradually narrower from a conveyance direction upstream side of the developer in the second conveyance chamber to a downstream side thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
