PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a cable with branches that can be lightened, and can be connected to existing facility with satisfactory workability.SOLUTION: In a cable with branches 100 comprising a trunk cable 150 and branch line cables 110, a first trunk cable 50 and a first branch line cable 10, which respectively have conductors 51, 11 made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, occupy a major part of the cable, and a second trunk cable 60 and a second branch line cable 20, which respectively have conductors 62, 21 made of copper or copper alloy, are connected respectively to end parts of the first trunk cable 50 and the first branch line cable 10, so that weight and cost can be reduced compared to a conventional cable with branches in which the whole conductors are copper or copper alloy, and dissimilar metal contact corrosion does not cause a problem and the cable can be preferably connected in the case of electrically connecting the cable with branches 100 to an existing distribution switchboard or power source equipment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
