<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a strain of a parasitic magnetic field and other types may cause an error when determining the position of a target to be tracked. <P>SOLUTION: A target tracking method includes a step of forming a plurality of energy fields at a plurality of different frequencies around the target; and a step of receiving a plurality of signals generated at the different frequencies in response to the energy fields in the position of the target. A plurality of spatial coordinates of the target are multiply computed based on the signals received at the different frequencies.
