<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printer paper for a handy terminal capable of reading by an OCR, sealing and performing a printing being easily seen and with a high quality by performing a dot printing capable of sealing and entering hand writing characters but being not sensitive to a reading sensor on the whole face of the printer paper with a UV-curable ink, and by providing a protective layer of a UV-curable resin except a part where sealing and entering hand writing characters on this dot printing. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal paper 1 for a thermal printer is generally composed of a base paper 11, a thermal layer 12 and an over-coat layer 13. The dot printing 2 with the UV-curable ink is performed on the whole top face of the over-coat layer 13 of the thermal paper for the thermal printer with a density capable of sealing and entering hand writing characters with the UV-curable ink. It is suitable that the density of the dot printing 2 capable of sealing and entering the hand writing characters is 100-175 lines/inch and the area rate is 10-20%. The dot printing 2 is performed with a colored or colorless UV-curable ink which has no influence on reading by an OCR reading machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
