PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a disc medium to be surely conveyed to a recording reproduction position by a simple configuration even when an optical system device increases in size and is complicated in a hologram recording reproduction device.SOLUTION: As a disc conveyance mechanism, a hologram recording reproduction device comprises: a first transport mechanism that conveys a disc medium 2 to a position of a spindle motor 4 with the disc medium 2 loaded on a tray 6; a second transport mechanism that moves the spindle motor 4 in a rotation axis direction to take out the disc medium 2 from the tray 6, and mounts the disc medium 2 to the spindle motor 4; and a third transport mechanism that conveys the disc medium 2 to the recording reproduction position by means of a pickup 1 with the disc medium 2 mounted to the spindle motor 4. The first transport mechanism and the third transport mechanism are configured to convey the disc medium 2 in a direction almost parallel with a medium surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
