PURPOSE: An assembling method of a stay is provided to cut down the time required for installing a stay on a bridge by installing strands on two stays simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: The assembling method of a stay comprises the steps of: connecting a new group of stiffeners(1) with a shuttle(2) located in a sheath around a secondary fixing area(16b); driving the shuttle(2) toward a primary fixing area(16a) by driving and guiding units(6a,6b,7,15a,15b); when the shuttle(2) reaches around the primary fixing area, rotating the shuttle(2) in the opposite direction of the entwined driving and guiding units(6a,6b,7,15a,15b); separating the ground of the stiffeners(1) from the shuttle(2); pulling each stiffener(1) of the group between the primary fixing area(16a) and the secondary fixing area(16b); and repeating above mentioned steps until the stiffeners(1) are installed completely. |
