PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a file format that equipment wants to receive.SOLUTION: A data transmission device capable of communicating with pieces of equipment via a network includes: a first conversion part; a plurality of second conversion parts; a transmission destination determination part; a file transmission part; and a format setting part. The first conversion part converts object data into an intermediate format to activate the transmission destination determination part when receiving the print instruction of the object data. The transmission destination determination part determines transmission destination equipment in accordance with activation by the first conversion part, and specifies the file format that the transmission destination equipment wants to receive, and gives the print instruction to any one second conversion part capable of converting the object data into the specified file format. The second conversion part which has received the print instruction from the transmission destination determination part converts the object data converted into the intermediate format by the first conversion part into the file format that the transmission destination equipment wants to receive. The file transmission part transmits the object data converted into the file format that the transmission destination equipment wants to receive to the transmission destination equipment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
