A method in a user equipment for handling a scheduling request is provided. The user equipment comprises a buffer. After receiving data arriving into the buffer to be transmitted to a base station, the user equipment triggers a scheduling request. The scheduling request is pending until it is cancelled. The user equipment cancels the pending scheduling request in response to determining that either the scheduling request is accounted for in a buffer status report to be included in a scheduled data transmission to be transmitted to the base station, or all data will be included in a scheduled data transmission to be transmitted to the base station. |
