PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration odor generation suppressing method for maintaining aroma peculiar to citrus flavor and maintaining flavor as the whole of a beverage or food product, and to provide a beverage or food product to which the method is applied.SOLUTION: A beverage or food product according to the present invention contains citrus flavor and a plant extract material.
