摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a novel material having a reduced weight by foaming a carbon fiber-reinforced modified PET resin having improved strength.SOLUTION: A thermoplastic composite material of a carbon fiber-reinforced modified polyester resin is obtained by kneading a polyester resin and carbon fiber while modifying terminal functional groups of the polyester by using an epoxy resin-based binder and an organic acid metal-based catalyst by a reaction extrusion method. From pellets of the composite material having improved melt viscosity and moldability, there is produced a foamed molded article to develop a new material having improved light weight and physical properties such as strength and the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
