The grain travels downwards through teh silo and is supplied through a conveyor which fills the feeder (2). The container is fitted with a number of horizontal channels (4) which are mounted in batteries one above the other. The silo is fitted with a sieve at the bottom which is connected to the discharge conveyor (6). The silo receives side air flows through the passages (7, 8, 9) heat being supplied from the burner (10).
