<p>Loading bridge with a bridge plate has a swivel bearing on a ramp around a horizontal axis at the rear end of the bridge. The bridge plate has an extension swivelling from a vertical rest position into a horizontal operating position to be placed on to the loading or unloading platform and fitting below the bridge plate. The extension is swivelled by a rod moving to and fro, actuated by a bendable pull-link anchored at the lower end. The end of the rod facing away from the extension has a linked connection with a lever connected to the bridge plate and swivelled by the pull link. The rod and lever move beyond an extended position before the extension reaches its operating position.</p> |
