摘要 <p>In the main application, a description is given of a spur-wheel gearbox for motor vehicles and the like, the speeds of which are selected in steps under load by means of a double clutch (2). The aim is, by reducing the number of synchronisable shifting dogs for selecting the six forward gears to considerably reduce the outlay on manufacture. This is achieved essentially by a new arrangement of the power flow in the various gears and by a particularly favourable hydraulic control of the synchronisable shifting dogs. In the flywheel (1) of the engine, the spur-wheel gearbox contains a double clutch (2) with an output shaft (16) which is not coaxial with the axis of the flywheel (1) and the two ends of which can serve to drive live axles of the vehicle. It is the object of the invention, by means of constructional measures which do not require any additional outlay, so to improve the above-described spur-wheel gearbox that both the noise of the gearbox and the internal frictional losses are reduced in the higher gears. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that a mating gear rotatably mounted on the output shaft (16) can be selectively coupled to the output shaft (16) by means of a synchronisable shifting dog (1'). <IMAGE></p>
