PURPOSE:To provide a machine tool which can machine a workpiece and has a marking function which can carve an identification mark on the machined workpiece. CONSTITUTION:A machine tool with a marking function is provided with a sub-table 37 on which a workpiece 5 is fixed, a tool 38 for cutting or grinding the workpiece 5 fixed on the sub-table 37 in the specified dimensions and a marking device 40 for printing or carving identification marks on the surface of the machined workpiece fixed on the sub-table. On the sub-table 37 a workpiece 5 is fixed. The workpiece 5 fixed on the sub-table 37 is machined or ground into the specified dimensions by the tool 8. On the surface of the machined workpiece 5 fixed on the sub-table 37, an identification mark is printed or carved by the marking device 40. |
