<p>PURPOSE:To carry out air intake by inertia supercharging with no stages continuously in the whole engine speed range from a low engine speed range to a high engine speed range in an inertia supercharging type air intake device which consists of a branch air intake tube which connects with a chamber installed on more downstream side than an air cleaner with respective cylinders independently for each of the cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Tapered parts 8a-11a whose sectional areas increase gradually toward a chamber 7 are provided in respective branch air intake tubes 8-11, and core bodies 12 which are formed into tapered wedges are inserted into the inside of the taper parts respectively so as to move in the longitudinal direction of the above branch air intake passages.</p> |
