The present invention is related to a pharmaceutical emulsion for intravenous administration for short term reduction of blood pressure during the operation or post-operation and when the oral therapy is difficult or ineligible, which comprises a) a short acting dihydropyridine compound with the half term of durability less then 30 minutes, selected from the group comprising 1,4-dihydropyridine compounds of general formula (I) pharmaceutical salts thereof, wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group comprising H, Cl, Br, nitro, cyano, trifluoromethyl, and R3 and R4 are independently selected from direct or branched lower (C1-5) alkyl groups and comprising all optical isomers with the condition if R3 is methyl and R4 is terc-butyl, then R1/R2 are not H/H, H/2'-trifluoromethyl, 2'-chlorine/3'-chlorine, and if R3 is methyl and R1/R2 are H/3'-nitro, then R4 is not methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, terc-butyl; b) a lipid phase; c) an emulsifier and d) water or a buffer; and its production method.
