摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: in a conventional membrane electrode jointed body for a fuel cell which is manufactured by a manufacturing method whereby after a conductive water repellent layer is formed on a gas diffusion layer base material, the conductive water repellent layer is crimped to an electrode catalyst layer, adhesiveness of the two layers becomes insufficient, and an electric resistance on the interface of the two layers increase, and thereby battery I-V characteristics is deteriorated: since moisture is condensed in the interface part, and gas diffusion becomes unstable, a battery voltage is not stabilized and is deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: This membrane electrode jointed body is equipped with a high polymer electrolyte membrane 41, two electrodes 47 disposed on both sides of the high polymer electrolyte membrane 41 respectively, and at least one of two electrodes 47 is composed of the catalyst layers 42, 43, a second water repellent conductive layer 46 having a resin having prescribed water repellency and prescribe adhesiveness as a main resin component, a first water repellent conductive layer 45 having a resin having stronger water repellency than the prescribed water repellency and weaker adhesiveness than the prescribed adhesiveness as a main resin component, and a gas diffusion layer 44 disposed in this order from the high polymer electrolyte membrane 41 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
