PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of leakage or a discharge noise, between a supplying sleeve and a napping height regulating plate by electrically insulating a napping height regulating plate part from a developing device and connecting a supplying roller and the napping height regulating plate, so as to obtain the same potential. SOLUTION: For electrically insulating a developing unit main body from the supplying roller 46 or the developing unit main body from the napping height regulating plate 50, the supplying roller 46 is held by an insulating bearing or the napping height regulating plate 50 is held with an insulator. Further, the supplying roller 46 and the napping height regulating plate 50 are connected in parallel to obtain the same potential and grounded with a resistance of 80MΩ. By such a constitution, an electric charge induced in the supplying roller 46 and the napping height regulating plate 50 can be released by a developing bias voltage applied to a developing roller 36. Further, as resistance, a resistance of 80MΘis used and a resistance value higher than a resistance of 80MΩcan be used as well. |
