<p>The electric motor drive is used for driving a steppingvoltage regulator in the whole adjustment range. It is small-sizedand has low weight, as well as low cost with a facility forunified driving for a normal and an increased number of positions.The drive contains a low r.p.m. electric motor, such as a 12-poleasynchronous motor directly coupled to the outlet driving shaft towhich it is connected by means of a worm-type transmission for onereswitching revolution, and subsequently to it there is a secondworm-type transmission for a stepping revolution of a digitalwheel and an electric commutator slide. The ditital wheel and thecommutator are coaxially fitted around the outlet shaft and areconnected to the shaft of the second worm-type transmission bymeans of a replaceable gear transmission.</p> |
