摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in focus adjustment and to shorten an adjusting time discriminating deviation of focal distances of videos of respective colors of green, red and blue. SOLUTION: This device is provided a CCD camera 3 color photographing a projection image projected on a screen (surface to be projected) by a three- plate system liquid crystal projector 1, an A/D converter 4 digitizing photographed video signals of green, red and blue, image memories 5, 6, 7 storing the digital data of respective colors, an operator 8 digitizing a focusing state as a focus value at every color and a display part 9, and obtains a distribution of focuses in projection image of respective colors, and adjusts the focus by these distribution data. Further, the device decides the focus values of respective colors at every area divided to plural areas in the surface to be projected by the operator 8, and focus adjusts so that divided area with the highest focus value is made to coincide with each other in respective colors.
