PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove sensitive components owing to the nonuniformity of capacitance, etc., in an electric charge storing part within fixed pattern noise(FPN). SOLUTION: The potential of a reset voltage Vdx is reduced to be a calibrating voltage Vdc and also a reset pulseϕR and a calibration pulseϕS3 for a reference signal are turned-on so that an output voltage from a picture element 10 is held in a reference signal holding capacitor C4 as a reference signal output voltage Vc0, which is connected to the positive phase input terminal side of a second subtractor 53 and also outputted from the second subtractor 53. A correction reference signal output voltage Vc1 being a subtraction result of the reference signal output voltage Vc0 and a non-signal output voltage Vr is held in a correction reference signal holding capacitor C6 . Moreover, a correction original signal output voltage Vs1 held in a correction original signal holding capacitor C3 is subtracted by the correction reference signal output voltage Vc1 which is held in the correction reference signal holding capacitor C6 by the subtractor 54.
