PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the conservative characteristics of a thin tape, in which a continuous thin-film is formed on one surface of a high-molecular substrate, while preventing noises due to charging by keeping the surface electric resistance of the continuous thin-film within a specific-value range and making the high-molecular substrate contain a conductive material. SOLUTION: A PET having thickness of 3.2μm is used as a substrate 1, a silica having a diameter of 7 nm is employed as an excipient 2, and the excipient 2 is buried in the surface layer section of the substrate 1. The frequency of formation is set in 200 pcs./μm<2> . A CoO magnetic layer is formed in thickness of 140 nm as a metallic thin-film magnetic layer 3, and a high- humidity carbon film is formed in thickness of 10 nm as a protective film. The mixture of metallic silicon and a silicon oxide is employed as an SiOx layer 7, and evaporated in thickness of 100 nm, and surface electric resistance is set in 100-1000 ohm/sq. Accordingly, the reduction of the quantity of saturation magnetic flux at the time of conservation can be prevented, and the lack of a picture signal due to partial noises due to a charging phenomenon can be obviated.
