The fan or impeller has two cast aluminium mouldings forming a scroll-shaped housing for centrifugal fan which is driven by an electric motor mounted on one of the castings by means of bosses raised on the casting and rubber bushes attached through holes in the motor bracket. The two half shells (1,2) are assembled together to form the air volute for a centrifugal fan (6) which is driven by an electric motor (7). The upper half shell (1) has three equispaced pegs (3) on its upper surface on equal radii. The motor and fan assembly is carried on a mounting bracket (5) with three corresponding holes into which are fitted rubber bushes (4). |
