The bracket comprises at least two sections (3,4,4/1), including a first half section (3) secured by fasteners (6) to the outer side of a vertical plate in the length support (1) for the functional part (2), and a second half section (4) with an essentially U-shaped profile section (7) gripping around a flange (8) protruding from the vertical plate in a horizontal direction. Both half sections are engaged with the same region (11) of an essentially tubular end of an angled bracket (10) holding the functional part. Fasteners (12) in this engagement region are used to hold the two half-sections together.
