PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a caller in an emergency telephone system to make a contact with a radio terminal around a site where en emergency takes place even when the caller does not grasp a moving destination of the radio terminal. SOLUTION: Position registration information sent periodically by a radio terminal 16 is received by a central controller 13 via a radio base station 17 and a radio base station controller 19 and stored in a storage device 14. When an emergency attendant board 25 dials a prescribed area number, the central controller 13 searches the main storage device 14 to call a radio terminal 16 resident in a designated area or its vicinity and connects it to the emergency attendant board 25.
