PURPOSE: A method is provided to redial by checking if call of the partner is ended, with the user terminated the call and leaved the receiver off. CONSTITUTION: A VOX circuit(14) detects the presence or absence of audio signal inputted thereto through line terminals(T,R). An MPU(12) outputs call control signal when a hook switch is turned on, allows call pass to be connected for a certain time, and produces speaker on control signal during the presence of the audio signal. A call control part(16) is switched based on the call control signal to thereby connect or intercept the call path. A call circuit(18) connected with transceiver and receiver of a handset and the line terminals(T,R) via the call control part(16), performs the call based on a line voltage received from the call control part(16). A speaker phone circuit(22) connected with an audio output terminal of the call circuit(18) outputs audio of the partner through the speaker phone.
