PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for obtaining the total amount of a chemically synthesized (RS)-N-[2-(3,5-dimethylphenoxy)-1-methylethyl]-6-(1-fluoro-1- methylethyl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diamine in the form of a high-melting point crystal in high efficiency and provide a high-melting point crystal produced by the process. SOLUTION: This process for the production of a high-melting point crystal comprises the addition of a chemically synthesized (RS)-N-[2-(3,5- dimethylphenoxy)-1-methylethyl]-6-(1-fluoro-1-methylethyl)-1,3,5-triaz ine-2,4-diamine crystal to a mixture of a poor solvent and a good solvent of the diamine and heat-treating the obtained mixture at >=30 deg.C and below the melting point of the low-melting point crystal. The high-melting point crystal is produced by this process.
