PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, with which can easily and continuously copy multiple faces of copies having indefinite sizes, and stencil type plate making printing equipment using the image forming device. SOLUTION: The image forming device consists of a continuous copying setting means for instructing the continuously copying multiple faces of a copy image signal, which is optically read at a copy reading part, towards a sub- scanning direction to a matter to be reproduced and their writing at a copy image writing part, a continuous copying width setting means for setting the length of one face towards the sub-scanning direction in the continuous copying of the multiple faces as a continuous copying width and a controlling means for controlling writing in the mater to be reproduced by the copy image writing part, which calculates the number of faces on the basis of the continuous copying width and the size of the matter to be reproduced so as to lay out the copy image signal sent from the copy reading part in the region of the matter to be reproduced on the basis of the continuous copying width into the number of the faces.
